How do you find what hex signals will have an effect on the pedal? Also is it possible to use a program like Bome SendSX with a USB cable?
Seems like most softwares have MIDI out but not to USB. How do you overcome this? thanks in advance!

I just found out that if you plug into the computer and open a program like Bome's SendSX or MidiOX, the Zoom is recognized. I was able to get the MS pedal and the G1Xon to respond to patch number commands which equate to: C0 00 C0 01 ... C0 XX
in hexadecimal.
It goes all the way up to whatever the last patch number is and also works with the effect mode (changes which effect pedal is selected). the tuner comes on with a: B0 4B 6A OR B0 4A 6A (and many others) on the MS-70CDR and goes off with B0 4B 00 OR B0 4A 00 (and again many others)
I'd like to find the tap temp. I accidentally accessed it by pressing buttons but couldn't figure out which hex command brought it on.
Finding Zoom's commands by guessing or pressing buttons on a controller isn't the easiest!
EDIT: Stumbled across this tuner access for the G1xon C0 0A B0 4B 56

I did a pretty exhaustive search for a tempo command today with Midi Ox. I even tried connecting the likely pins to ground on the board/processor. This pedal is like a drunk vocalist; it's tempo is entirely internal. I'm resigned to the fact that I'm just going to have to dedicate a button that triggers the tuner over MIDI, and leave the pedal in tap mode when I long-press the switch.
That being said, I'd love to know how 777funk got the pedal to scroll between effects. I was planning on putting an extra jack in the pedal so I could patch in a couple remote switches for the left/right buttons, but if there's a way to avoid that, it would be fantastic.

Anybody know if the MultiStomp can be muted via midi? My band has a new pet peeve: me, tuning, at full volume.

In the end, was the hexadecimal sequence to activate the tap tempo discovered?

Ok I deduce that nobody cares anymore.
